People don't play sports because its fun. Ask any athlete. Most of them hate it, but they couldnt imagine their life without it. It's part of them, the hate/love relationship. It's what they live for. They live for the practices, parties, cheers, long bus rides, invitationals, countless pairs of different types of shoes, water, Gatorade, and coaches you hate but appreciate. They live for the way it feels when you beat the team next to you by one point in overtime, and you know those two extra sprints you ran in practice were worth it. They live for the way you become a family with your team. They live for the countless songs you sing in your head when your running ALL those suicides. They live for the competition, they live for the friends, the practices, the memories, the pain; it's who they are. It's who we are. WE ARE ATHLETES.

so we had to write end of the year essays for english class.  here's mine.  it pretty much sums things up.


real update on life and everything else comes soon.  promise.

so my memorial day weekend was probably quite different from yours.

no alcohol was included. i slept in shitty dorms. i was with all girls all weekend. excluding coaches and the bryce jordan center employee with a prosthetic arm. and i played a shit load of volleyball. including the last serious games i will play in my highschool career. it got pretty intense. i love my fusion girls. so much. my monday, wednesday, and friday nights will be empty without them. this has seriously been the best team i've ever played for by far. and i totally owe that to them, dan chung, and TA. a;slkdjf LOVE.

but honestly... this weekend can be summed up with three letters.

oh my gosh.

this weekend was aaaaaammmmaaaaaaazing.

half day of school.
depressing assembly that made me cry.
home to shower.
hair. makeup... that was backed up an hour and a half.
mom-mom, pop-pop, monica, steph, sara, sister, and parental unit were at the house.
kyle had to talk to them for a long time while i waited. haha.
ran super late and just met everyone at school.
pictures, promenade, got in the limo bus with snoopy on the back.
twas me, kyle, lauren dinger, mike pulcini, ant, amy, megan, christian, tracy, gary, kim, griffiths, lexi, beitz, sajaa, greggy, and random boy and girl i didn't really know. aka. best limo ever.
wawa run for energy drinks. hahaha. of course.
crazy ride to philly.
entered the hotel. we were kind of early but late still. haha.
didn't eat but ran around and took pictures for a while.
danced the whole time.
except when my foot cramped up of course and when beitz was having a caffiene attack and almost died.
it was pretty insane.
and then it ended.
then to geno's.
got a whiz without. aka best piece of food i've ever eaten in my entire life.
ride back to school, megan's, then ryan's for the night.
twas a blast.
then sea isle with boy in the morning. which was awesome. then nerk, bill, and ryan came down. then deanna and shalin.
back to twp for showers and to get ready for SAY ANYTHING!!!
picked up kyle, nerk, vickie.
south street!

polonia? first band? they were really really good.
the starting line did an acoustic set.
then say anything. omg they were awesome.
drove home.
everyone was being tired and stupid.
so me and kyle stayed out and slept in my car. haha.
then me and nerk went to sea isle again. and we were going to surf but waves sucked and we were tired and so we just slept on the beach instead. mark sat on rocks by himself. so i talked to him for a while. chilled inside for a little. talked about winning the lottery. which ryan and bill will do. and they'll have a fire pole in their house. hahahahha.
drove home.
showered. aka best shower of my life.
and now i'm here.

it has come to my attention that someone that i would not like reading this, is in fact reading this. and i am officially freaked out.

and for your information, mrs. i-can't-keep-my-nose-out-of-other-people's-business, i am in fact on the right track. everyone gets senioritis and i am not just a party girl. i am president of a community service club at my school, captain of my volleyball team, and i have recently been selected to first team all conference (did your daughter ever get anything like that???), i am very interested in playing in college and will succeed in that.

please stop making dumbass assumptions about me and my life.

i always knew you were extremely nosy and annoying, but not to this extent.
